MY STUDENTS TRUST OTHERS BECAUSE THEY LEARN TO ACCESS WISDOM FROM OUR WORLD’S GREAT RELIGIONS AS WELL AS SHARE WISDOM FROM THEIR OWN. WITHOUT TRUST WE CANNOT SOLVE OUR LOCAL AND GLOBAL PROBLEMS.
– Lauren Zinn

Religious values can provide a steady anchor in a turbulent world and we could use that anchor now more than ever. But even well-meaning religious education tends to impart an ethno-centric worldview, where teaching values eventually polarizes “us” and “them.” Today, we need a majority of people to adopt a world-centric consciousness if we are to share in a dynamic peace and solve our global problems. We do this by integrating (not dissolving) our core religious values with others. This is the interspiritual age. I’m here to help get us there.
Sometimes I think, If we don’t go holistic, we’ll all go ballistic.
I promote the development of an interspiritual worldview for the healing and thriving of all our religious traditions. I identify as a female, Interspiritual Jewish teacher-learner-trainer, community organizer, speaker, author/writer, officiant, nonprofit donor and alumni relations director, program developer, refugee sponsorship coordinator, social justice activist, reparations advocate, religion education associate, children’s book illustrator, gaming- simulation designer, and visual artist. I reside on Anishinaabe land known as Ann Arbor.
